Intro to DOKS / Initial Consultation*

Note: Initial consultation must be done in-person. Follow-ups can be scheduled as phone calls or via Skype conferencing.


15 minutes

On the call, we will talk about DOKS Lifestyle Medicine and answer any questions you may have about our programs and/or practice. Although the call will not include any coaching, we want to help you decide whether or not DOKS is right for you.

initial consultation

1 hour 30 minutes

Your first session includes a consultation with a physician, a full review of your medical history and a full biometric work-up with a Nurse/Coach. From there we will be able to develop a plan to improve your health and maximize your success.

Follow-Up Consultations

These sessions can only be scheduled after an initial consult.


15, 30, or 60 minutes

With a physician, you will discuss overall progress, your initial concerns and make adjustments to your health plan in order to meet your goals or optimize your health.

As a follow-up from your initial visit, you will discuss overall progress with a nurse/coach, address concerns and make adjustments to meet your goals.

Shopping / Pantry Evaluation

Shopping with DOKS

60 minutes

Let DOKS accompany you to your favorite grocery store! We can help you learn how to read labels, make better choices and avoid the pitfalls that come with unsuccessful dieting.

Pantry/FRIDGE Evaluation

60 minutes

By working with you in your home, we can teach you how to best stock your pantry and refrigerator to decrease temptation and maximize your success.


Exercise with DOKS

60 minutes

We will provide you with basic information on aerobics, strengthening, balance, stretching, and how this can positively affect your life and specifically help certain medical problems.


30 minutes- 2 hours

This is an informal group activity where you can hike with us and ask us questions. We will adjust the hikes to the level of those participating.
